    How the Text Humanizer Works

This tool is a client-side rewriting engine. It never sends your text to a server, never stores it in a database, and never calls any AI API. Everything runs in your browser in real time.

    What the engine actually does

    1. Tokenise & protect — URLs, emails, code snippets, and protected words are temporarily replaced with sentinel placeholders.
    2. Split into sentences — the text is segmented by a rule-based splitter.
    3. Apply transformations — remove AI filler, replace synonyms, inject contractions, hedging, personal voice.
    4. Reshape rhythm — split long sentences, merge short ones, vary sentence openers.
    5. Restore protected tokens — sentinel placeholders are swapped back.
    6. Score & compare — readability (Flesch, FK, Gunning Fog, SMOG, ARI) plus a heuristic AI-probability estimate.

    Readability formulas used

    • Flesch Reading Ease — higher = easier. 60–70 is ideal for general audiences.
    • Flesch–Kincaid Grade — US school grade level.
    • Gunning Fog Index — years of formal education needed.
    • SMOG Index — health-literacy standard.
    • Automated Readability Index (ARI) — characters + sentence length.

    What this tool is not

    • It is not a "detector-evasion" tool. Its purpose is legitimate writing refinement.
    • It does not guarantee any specific outcome on third-party AI detectors.
    • It does not fabricate facts, citations, or claims. It only rewrites the language you provide.
    • It does not replace a human editor.

    Ethical use

Use this tool to refine your own writing, polish AI-assisted drafts, improve readability for your audience, and make technical content feel less robotic. Do not use it to misrepresent authorship in academic submissions, professional certifications, or any context where honest attribution is required.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Is this text humanizer free?

Yes — completely free with no signup, no ads, no character limits. All processing runs in your browser.

What does "humanize text" actually mean?

It means rewriting stiff, formulaic, or mechanically-generated prose into something that reads like it was written by a person — with natural rhythm, varied structure, contractions, and organic phrasing.

    Will this bypass AI detectors?

No ethical tool can guarantee bypassing AI detectors, and we make no such claim. Use this tool to genuinely improve your writing quality.

    Does it preserve my meaning?

The engine uses conservative rules — synonym replacement is limited to equivalents with the same part of speech. Always review the output, especially for technical or legal content.

Can I protect brand names and technical terms?

Yes — go to Engine Settings and add protected words, one per line or comma-separated.

Can I add my own synonyms?

Yes — Engine Settings → Custom Synonym Dictionary. Paste a JSON object mapping words to replacement alternatives.

    What are the different modes?

Each mode adjusts the transformation weights. Natural is balanced. Light makes minimal changes. Aggressive rewrites more deeply. Academic, Casual, Professional, Creative, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and Email are tuned for those formats.

    What is the "intensity" slider?

Intensity controls how often each transformation fires. At 30, only obvious swaps are made. At 90, the engine rewrites far more aggressively. 60 is a good starting point.

Does it work on non-English text?

Currently the synonym and contraction dictionaries are tuned for English. The sentence splitter, readability scores, and structural transformations work on any Latin-script text.

Can I use this for academic papers?

Use it to improve clarity and readability of your own writing. Do not use it to disguise AI-generated content in contexts where disclosure is required.
